GARDEN SCENARIOS: SOME EXAMPLES OF DIFFERENT GARDEN SITUATIONS
Bringing Tring's gardens back to life with practical, workable, sustainable methods and ongoing support
We have four watchwords to help turn your garden into something special: places, pictures, moments and connections. We find that one invariably leads to the other: once you've found the perfect spot and formed the right picture in your mind, you'll soon make the connections that bring those treasured moments to life. It really doesn't matter whether all or part of your garden gets too much sun, not enough sun, is prone to surface water or provides the ideal environment for growing and nurturing life. It doesn't matter whether you have just a few feet of space or a vast oasis with which to work. We'll make it work for you.

Garden design and rejuvenation
Garden designs need not start on paper, but it is often the best way of getting a sense of how the various spaces will work together. A design begins with a walk and a talk about the challenges and possibilities.
A scaled survey is used to produce a set of design ideas, which can be refined to produce a plan for action. I love to help bring these ideas to life, but am as happy to support clients who wish to do their own work.
Consultancy - a walk and talk about the possibilities and any challenges to be considered.
Survey - scaled drawings that relate the garden space to its surroundings and major features.
Layout and planting possibilities - scaled 'visions' for the garden's development
Carefully considered planting schemes and sound suggestions that really work
Sometimes a client is just looking for inspiration and a few practical suggestions. I can arrange a visit to show how the garden or planting will work on the ground.
I enjoy bringing the plan to life and if required will produce a competitively priced quotation for the construction and planting of the garden.
Because every part of your garden matters
Not all projects must involve overhauling the entire space - it can often be a matter of considering the role of that space, working out its shortfalls and its hidden potential to exploit those possibilities to the full.
We make the best use of sunny spaces and shady corners, so that no area of your garden is left looking neglected or unkempt.
